Chai Point's latest and largest outlet spanning across 1400 sq ft finds its address in New delhi's Cannaught Place.

The tea cafe brand Chai Point has recently opened its largest outlet at New Delhi’s archaic high street location Cannaught Place. The space, spread over 1400 sq ft is also the brand’s 103rd outlet across 8 cities in India. As part of their robust growth plan, Chai Point will open 3 more outlets in this month at Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, Rajiv Chowk Metros Station, Delhi and AECS Layout Bangalore.

Talking on their journey and expansion plan, Shashank Sharma, General Manager NCB, Mountain Trail Foods, told Retail4growth, “We started our journey 8 years back with a vision to cater to our uniquely specific TG who love tea and want a white collar space, which isn’t a regular coffee shop. Today, amongst, 103 outlets, our Cyberhub one generates highest revenue per square feet. With the launch of CP outlet, we aim to position ourselves as one-of-its-kind tea café which offers various other services. We want to be present in places wherever there’s a strategic need. However, we would like to spend enough time to scout for those perfect locations.”

Krishna RDM, Regional Manager – Projects, explaned, “Design wise, we don’t want any two outlets to look identical. Therefore, we have introduced lot of new elements like handmade tiles, concrete finish, luxe level lighting etc. What is also unique about the outlet is the USB charging points and portable chargers for NFC-enabled phones.” The design and consultation of the space is done by Gurgaon-based Studio Span while City Signs has executed the signage needs. Kanika Grover of Studio Span added, “We worked closely with not only the design brief but the brand’s vision. As it’san environment-conscious brand we have allowed lot of  natural light to play inside the space and made it a warm place for people to stick around for longer comfortably.”
