Ciclo to open 14-15 stores in next 3 yrs

The café brand that retails bicycles plans to open next outlet in Pune thereafter opening one more in each city they are already present in.

Ciclo Café, a unique concept combining F&B and bicycle retail in association with world’s largest manufacturer of bicycles TI Cycles, has revealed plans to open 14-15 stores in next 3 years, with each opening in every 3-4 months. Starting from its pilot project in last year in Chennai, Ciclo today has its outlets in Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Bangalore. Sharing Ciclo’s plans, Ashish Thadani, CEO, TI Absolute Concept, the company behind this retail identity, told Retail4growth, “It’s a very unique concept of retailing cycles through a café. This kind of concept is already available in some parts of Europe. We are currently retailing 8 top brands of bicycles and we plan to open in Pune next. After Pune, we plan to open one more in existing cities, each in an interval of 3-4 months taking our store count to nearly 15 in next 3 years.”

Ciclo Café’s design has been developed by Varuna Arvindam in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore while the Gurgaon one has been designed by Delhi-based architect Vrinda Mathur. On design aspect of Ciclo, Thadani, added, “the interior of these cafes follow a unique pattern, where the F&B guest are also reminded of the fact that they are in a bicycle shop. We have possibly used all the parts of an bicycle in furniture, lighting fixtures etc.”
