Deerika Hypermarket plans to open 10 new stores by 2021

With the expansion, the company aims to extend its operation in Gurugram by March 2021. The sizes of the stores are anticipated to vary from 45,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. while some will be of 5000 sq. ft.

The retail arm of DJT Corporation and Investments, Deerika Hypermarket plans to open 10 new stores in Gurugram by 2021. With the expansion, the company aims to extend its operation in the region. The sizes of the stores are anticipated to vary from 45,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. while some will be of 5000 sq. ft.

Akash Anand, Managing Director, Deerika, stated, “We have seen an encouraging response from customers since the launch of our first flagship Hypermarket, setting a solid foundation for Deerika. This is a testimony to customer’s trust in the quality of our service and we will continue living up to the trust they have reposed in us. Moreover, in offering an enhanced experience to customers, we plan to launch 10 new stores across Gurugram by the end of this fiscal. We are confident of moving ahead with the same momentum, meeting customer’s demand as we strive for double-digit growth in FY2022.”

The company launched its first flagship store in January, this year; with its customer base reaching to 1,00,000 in the last few months and is long forward to a huge scope of success with the future additions.
