Designer Prodipta Roy launches'anuCriti' in Kolkata

Kolkata based designer Prodipta Roy launched her vibrant and new fashion label "anuCriti” in the city of joy'. Strategically located at 3/1Jodhpur Garden, Kolkata, the boutique showcases an ensemble of traditional and modern designer fashion wear.'anuCriti', which means a small and beautiful creation, rightly communicates their tagline "we do not borrow, we create ideas” and is aptly reflected in their aesthetic collection and store décor, both conceptualized by Prodipta herself.

"I didn't have any formal training in designing clothes. When I was designing my own clothes, I was encouraged by my friends and family members to start my own label. Thus'anuCriti' came in and our motto is to provide the best quality in a designer range at an affordable price. In two phases we would be expanding our retail presence and would come up with 3-4 more stores in Kolkata.Post Durga Puja, our existing outlet is also coming in a bigger place which would be ready by this year-end.”

As a part of their unique shopper connective initiative, anuCriti has also introduced two membership cards - Classic and Privilege. A Classic Card Member will have to pay Rs 200, which will entitle him/her to a round-the-year discount of 8% across all products.  On a single bill amount of Rs 5,000, the member will also get the facility to pay the amount in two installments within a span of two months, whereas a Privilege Card Member will have to pay Rs 250 which will get him a discount of 12% throughout the year. On a single  bill amount of Rs 7000, the cardholder will get three installments within a span of two and half months.

The brand at the moment helps small groups of women who are socio-economically weak but are creative in their respective field. anuCriti is also supporting the girls of a correctional home by getting them do a lot of handicrafts work for their product range.
