Glace Patisserie launches its outlet in Kolkata

On the occasion of Christmas, Kolkata unveiled a new bake brand "Glace Patisserie” located  at The Chambers Mall. Glace' Patisserie has emerged as a leading bake house from the RDR Lebensmittel Pvt. Ltd. which is also well known in the city's club circles for its "BakeFlake" brand of savouries and condiments.

Four enterprising business partners (Chandrajit Bhattacharya, Srayasi Banerjee, Nandita Naswkar, Jhuma Paul) together hold RDR Lebensmittel Pvt. Ltd., with one common interest. Banerjee shares, "The aim is, to produce and provide flavours and colours of the West, distinct rich taste and a unique "Bake and take" experience that brings the special baking tips out of the baker's closet. Our aim is to target Gen X and build a customer base for repeat buying through innovative marketing ideas, including use of technology platforms.”

The 500 sq.ft. store has been designed by Srayasi Banerjee and Chandrajit Bhattacharya which has a very minimalist yet chic look. In order to connect more with the TG in the retail atmosphere, the brand has come up with the unique concept of D-I-Y (do-it-yourself) where the customers can book a prior slot with the chef and can prepare their favourite item on a regular basis.  

"The products at Glace have been carefully crafted by our Executive Chef Chirodip Paul, to provide opulence in taste. We are well on our way to create a variety of signature emoticons using cakes. The naughty theme cup-cakes of Glace are already in news," informs Banerjee.
The brand aims to open further new outlets after six months in Kolkata and then wish to travel with it in other parts of the country.
