HyperCITY launches second store in Thane

The store has been strategically located on a bustling street in Thane which will cater to residents of Thane, Mulund, Powai, Ghatkopar and other central suburbs of Mumbai.

HyperCITY, the leading retail player announced the launch of its second store in Thane. The new store, which is the fourth in Mumbai, is spread over 65,000 sq. ft. and boasts of the finest range of products across categories such as food & grocery, fruits & vegetables, personal care, apparel & small appliances, furniture, sports & fitness. The store has been strategically located on a bustling street in Thane which will cater to residents of Thane, Mulund, Powai, Ghatkopar and other central suburbs of Mumbai. Announcing the launch of the store, Mark Ashman, CEO, HyperCITY Retail (India) Ltd. said, "It gives us immense joy to announce the launch of our second store in Thane. The store has a wide range of products, with width and depth across categories; it promises to provide best brands at affordable costs. On this occasion we would also appeal our consumers to come forward and extend their support towards our initiative for the flood relief.”

During the launch of the new store HyperCITY also initiated a drive to support the rehabilitation for flood victims of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The hypermarket has associated with Giants Group of Thane City & Giants Group of Lokmanya Nagar to raise funds by collecting old newspapers from Thane housing societies. HyperCITY will contribute relief material i.e. dal, pulses etc. equal to the amount collected.
