Kratos Furnishers brings Bangladesh’s furniture brand Hatil to India

Kratos Furnishers joins hands with Hatil for its expansion in India. Hatil, a leading furniture brand of Bangladesh is planning to open 30 stores across the country in the next three years.

Kratos Furnishers, a Chandigarh based leading furniture manufacturer have joined hands with Hatil, a Bangladesh-based well-known furniture brand to expand its footprint in the Indian market. Under the franchise partnership, Kratos will introduce Hatil across India except the east region.

Avan Goel, MD, Hatil, India shares in an interaction with Retail4Growth team, “We have taken the master franchise of Hatil for enduring its global expansion. We are planning to open two outlets in Chandigarh and five in Punjab, i.e. one each in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bhatinda, and Patiala by the end of this year.” Avan Goel is an alumnus of Thapar Engineering College, and co-founder of another educational venture, Edvour. He says, “We aim to become a recognized leader in the Indian furniture market and expand our product portfolio by joining hands with Hatil as a master franchise. Hatil is recognised worldwide for providing elegant home décor, office furniture and interior solutions at affordable price and we are bringing its entire furniture range to the Indian customers through this tie-up,” he adds.

To make a massive brand impression, Hatil has displayed its product range innovatively in its three levelled store. “We have developed an alluring product display of the home and office solutions with the help of our in-house team of interior designers to offer an unforgettable experience to our customers. We have designed the entire area like a mini furniture mall that spread in 10,000 sq ft on three floors with separate sections for the drawing rooms, bedrooms, and office furniture.”

Hatil has targeted to set up 25-30 stores in the country through franchise business model in the next three years. It has already gained acceptance in Australia, USA, Russia, Canada, Thailand, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Russia etc with a total 80 outlets. It is appreciated by all the customers because of superior quality, craftsmanship and a strong after-sales service.

Goel concludes, “We have plans to first expand in the northern India and are looking for franchisees in all the urban cities of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Delhi NCR.”
