Liganova partners Samsung to run retail challenge at World Retail Congress

Five student teams from across the globe will be judged by five industry experts

Brand solutions entity Liganova, belonging to the BrandRetail Company, has partnered with Samsung and the World Retail Congress to develop the'Future Retail Challenge', a student competition for international colleges organised as part of the World Retail Congress (WRC). The best concept will be rewarded on September 30 at the WRC in Paris.

The competition is aptly called'Future Retail Challenge' as the opportunity is to design a futuristic Samsung store, a store which the millennial consumer can relate to. Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, USA, Marche Polytechnic University, Ancona, Italy, Keio University, Tokyo, Japan, Fashion Retail Academy, London, UK, Hong Kong, Polytechnic University, China, would be the competing universities.

The format of the competition provokes young retail minds to showcase their creative potential and provides a platform to dive into the world of retail design. At the WRC, all entries will be showcased as an exhibition.
