The 82nd National Garment Fair (NGF), India’s Spring–Summer apparel trade fair, will be held from January 20–22, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon East, Mumbai. Spread across an expansive 7 lakh square feet, the fair will present the latest trends, designs, and innovations across men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel.
The inauguration ceremony of the 82nd NGF will be graced by Shri Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour include Shri Ashish Kewalramani of Ashish NX, Nagpur, and Shri Ganesh Narayan Beria of Nagarmal Sheonarain & Sons, Arrah, Bihar.
With over 1,070 stalls and 1,085+ brands, the 82nd edition of NGF is bigger than ever, elevated by a premium ambience and on-the-spot registrations, bringing together leading apparel manufacturers, retailers, and e-commerce players from across the country. The exclusive, biannual B2B event serves as a comprehensive sourcing and networking platform, enabling meaningful business engagement and collaboration across the apparel value chain.
Organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the 82nd NGF is expected to connect more than 1,000 exhibitors with key decision-makers from retail, design, and trade. Building on its strong legacy, the fair continues to be the preferred sourcing destination for India’s apparel industry.
The 82nd edition will spotlight new partnerships, product launches, and industry-led innovations, reinforcing NGF’s role in driving growth and transformation within the domestic apparel market.
“Domestic consumption continues to be the key growth driver for the Indian apparel industry as we head into 2026, supported by rising demand for quality apparel and ongoing policy support,” said Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI. “82nd NGF will play an important role in bringing this growth together by presenting the latest trends and innovations suited to the domestic market.”
“The National Garment Fair remains an unmatched platform for India’s apparel ecosystem,” added Rohit Munjal, Vice President and Chairman of the Fair Committee of CMAI. “82nd NGF will create meaningful opportunities for manufacturers, retailers, and designers to connect, collaborate, and expand their footprint across markets. In this edition of NGF, we are introducing a stall locator feature to simplify navigation across the show, enabling visitors to easily discover new brands as well as locate their preferred ones.”
“NGF 2026 goes beyond showcasing collections; it reflects the direction in which the apparel industry is evolving,” said Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor of CMAI. “The platform continues to bring together innovations and changing consumer preferences, enabling meaningful dialogues and long-term relationships.”
