Amazon opens third fulfilment centre in Ahmedabad

The fulfilment centre will assist sellers to offers wider selection of products and fortify their network within the region and neighboring states, ahead of the festive season.

The American multinational e-commerce, Amazon.com launches their third fulfilment centre in Ahmedabad, ahead of the festive season. The new store is stretched over more than two lakhs sq. ft area and will assist sellers to offers wider selection of products within the region and neighbouring states.

The infrastructural expansion will increase Amazon's storage capacity to 1.5 million cubic feet across three fulfilment centres for more than 80000 sellers in Gujarat, as per the company.

The company further plans to launch a new sort centre and expand the space of the existing one, enabling faster delivery of orders in the state.

With this initiative, the company offers a strong delivery network of more than 100 Amazon-owned and Delivery Service partner stations in Gujarat and aims to open thousands of ‘I Have Space’ stores dor a smooth functioning in Gujarat.
