With its newest retail location, the brand aims to bring the best version of its physical store at an exclusive location to provide premium feeling to the visitors in a different way

Apple has geared up to open its third store at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The brand’s latest setup becomes the world’s first retail shop that floats on water. With its newest retail location, the brand aims to bring the best version of its physical store at an exclusive location to provide premium feeling to the visitors in a different way.

Although there has been no confirmation of its commencement, the newly built store is a dome-like structure based on water. Apple has remodeled a shard-shaped crystal pavilion nightclub called ‘Avalon’ by adding glass panels that reflects Singapore’s skyline and blazes beautifully at night. The dome has a partial lighting setup through a spherical window at its top. The store is connected by a boardwalk and an underwater tunnel that links to a neighboring mall, as per a report.

Based on reports, the store will incorporate similar safety measures as it has done in other Singapore stores, to combat Covid-19. The new store is Apple's 512th location worldwide. The brand had set stores at the Knightsbridge building in Orchard Road and Jewel Changi Airport, previously.
