Being Human to open 80 stores in next 3 years

The clothing brand endorsed by Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan is planning to scale up its retail presence significantly. The expansion plan will cover both metros and tier-II cities

Unisex apparel brand Being Human, of Mandhana Retail Ventures, plans to add 80 more exclusive stores to their portfolio within the next 3 years. These stores will find their addresses in cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Bangalore, etc.

Talking to Retail4growth, Kunal Mehta, VP – Business Development and Marketing, Being Human said, “With these new stores opening, we are targeting a sales growth of 15%-20%. The upcoming stores will be sized between 1000-1500 sq ft and will require an investment around 50-60 lakhs depending upon the size. Our expansion plan will cover both metros and tier-II cities.” The brand has recently opened stores in Jodhpur and Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Navi Mumbai. On the retail design perspective, Mehta added, “The retail age and space is in demands of ever change and ever new. And it’s our continuous effort to make sure we keep on adding a new element to the design of our stores but retaining the base principle always."
