The menswear brand is planning to open 30-35 stores by the fiscal end targeting more on tier I and tier II cities. The brand is also slated to launch its second private label brand by next year.
Talking to Retail4growth, Ramesh Kaushik, Vice President – Brand Experience, Blackberrys, explained, “We are looking at horizontal and vertical expansion – looking more stores in India and withi existing cities respectively. Looking at the rapid growth of consumerism in smaller towns of India, fuelled by e-commerce and digital media, we are looking at major expansion in tier I and tier II cities. our next store launches are slated for cities like Siliguri, Guwahati and Ambala. With the largest number of company-operated stores in length and breadth of the country, we are now evaluating possibilities to scale up through franchisee mode.”
