Flipkart announces addition in the leadership team
The new additions include the Vice President of Fashion (Retail) and Vice President of HR (Supply- Chain), who joined the Flipkart team to take it to new levels.
Rishi Vasudev who has over 15 years of experience in the retail industry has now joined Flipkart as their new Vice President of Fashion (Retail). Rishi has moved on to Flipkart from being the CEO of Calvin Klien India to spearhead P&L for all fashion categories at Flipkart. His brand portfolio begins with Louis Philippe moving on to Arvind Brands like Arrow, Gant and Izod. "Fashion is very strategic to us and we have seen tremendous growth for the category this year. We are continuously expanding our selection and experience for the lifestyle category. To drive this agenda forward, we are very excited to have Rishi join our team. Parameswaran Balakrishnan joins the organization as Vice President- HR for Supply Chain. Balakrishnan joins Flipkart with over two decades of experience in working with large organisations like Toyota and Tata Motors. His latest work profile was heading employee relations and CSR of Tata Motors Ltd, India operations. His experience and record for global manufacturing practices, human resources and employee relations has led Flipkart to make this decision. "We are quite excited to have Param join us.
