Future Group rejigs its leadership roles

Future Group changed some leadership roles in the team along with adding a few names in the team.
As part of some recent interchange in leadership roles, Devendra Chawla, who was operating as President of Food and FMCG business, will now take the role of CEO of Future Consumer. The company has also roped in Jishnu Sen as Head of Marketing of Future Retail. Sen will report to Sadashiv Nayak, CEO, Big Bazaar. The group has also elevated COO PV Sheshadri’s role to Future Supply Chain’s CEO.
Kishore Biyani, Group CEO, Future Group, said, "We started this process with vertical advisor in the form of Milind Sarwate. We are looking at a growth of nearly 100%. There are more appointments coming on the consumer business side."
While Sen has more than 25 years of work experience across sectors, Chawla, a Harvard graduate, has worked with Asian Paints and Coca-Cola and Seshadri has been associated with companies like Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd., Grasim Industries Ltd., Bombay Dyeing Ltd., Pantaloon Retail India Ltd. and Welspun Retail Ltd.
