Gardler starts new integrated unit in Bhiwandi

The new unit houses the photometry divisions along with R&D and T&D sections.

Mumbai-based retail lighting manufacturing firm Gardler Lighting has recently expanded into one more integrated unit in Bhiwandi to improve performance, efficiency and standard of the lighting fixtures. This is in addition to their assembling unit at Vasai.

The new facility houses photometry unit along with R&D (Research & Development) and T&D (Testing & Development) units.

Talking more on the infrastructure development, Shankar Natarajan, CMD, Gardler Lighting, shared with Retail4growth, “The new unit is aimed at three times capacity expansion for Gardler. Our new photometry unit is helping us to evaluate performance, efficiency and standard of lighting fixtures, while the R&D and T&D divisions are contributing immensely towards product development. In fact, we have launched 4-5 new lighting fixtures in the last few months to add to our portfolio of new design. We are bringing technological advancements like Tunable White and Crisp Colours much faster. We have also expanded our project and installation teams and have drastically reduced the timeline for large installations.”
