Giorgio Armani’s first boutique in Mumbai launched at the Jio World Plaza features elements typical of the Armani aesthetic, with the store launch commemorated in the form of an exclusive showcase of the iconic collaborative works of legendary fashion photographer Aldo Fallai.
Giorgio Armani recently marked an important new milestone, opening its first boutique in Mumbai at the prestigious Jio World Plaza.
To commemorate this landmark occasion, Giorgio Armani presented an exclusive showcase of the iconic collaborative works of legendary fashion photographer Aldo Fallai. From February 12th to March 9th, the Jio World Plaza Atrium is hosting a premier exhibition, paying homage to a creative partnership that has defined over three decades of groundbreaking imagery. The exhibition will celebrate the visionary synergy between Giorgio Armani and Aldo Fallai—one that has shaped the visual language of modern luxury and timeless style.
This new destination in Mumbai features the signature Giorgio Armani design created with his team of architects. The boutique features sophisticated elements typical of the Armani aesthetic: floors are in marble- and onyx-effect is coordinating with the wall coverings in fine-textured silk wallpaper from the Armani/Casa collection and the ceiling in marmorino, which echo the colors and veining in the different areas within the boutique. The furniture features platinum-colored metal and eucalyptus fronts and is lined with wallpaper and glass. Armani/Casa provides many of the furnishings, such as lamps, rugs and Barbican armchairs.
The Aldo Fallai exhibit extending across the Giorgio Armani boutique, Armani/Caffè, and the Atrium at JWP showcases Fallai’s timeless black-and-white photography, which redefined Armani’s visual language since 1977, by blending cinematic storytelling with Renaissance influences.
