Imara targets 100% jump in their store network expansion by adding 15 more stores this fiscal and closing the next fiscal with a total number of 40 EBOs. The expansion will focus on tier-II and tier-III towns

With current network of 15 exclusive stores across India, ethnic wear brand from USPL Group, Imara, plans to close the next fiscal with 40 stores. The brand currently retails through a total number of 100 POSs including EBOs, MBOs and LFSs.

Talking further on expansion plan, Nishant Poddar from the communication team of USPL Group, told Retail4Growth, “Along with our menswear brand, Wrogn, we started Imara about 3 years back. We chose ethnic wear as there has been a surge in customer traction in this category over last few years. We have been enjoying a healthy double-digit growth in the last few years and now, we would like to take our retail expansion journey further. In terms of store network expansion, we plan for 100% jump, adding about 15 more stores in this fiscal, followed by a mark of 40 stores by the end of next fiscal. Our expansion plan at this moment will cover the tier-II and tier-III towns substantially. Drawing parallel, we would also like to strengthen our MBO and LFS presence. ”
