Involving more natural elements in store design concept, leading cosmetic brand The Body Shop launches its first store in India under ASIA FIT STORE concept, which is also third in the world after Japan and Singapore.
The Body Shop Asia Fit Store in India is the third store in the world after Japan and Singapore to showcase new design elements that help create a more inviting ambience for consumers. Wood furniture made from FSC - certified timber in natural oak finish and a warmer colour palette accompany a “hanging garden” ceiling raft which brings consumers back to the brand's roots.
Celebrating 40 years of conducting business as a force for good, The Body Shop has globally launched its Enrich Not Exploit™ Commitment, which is the beginning of their aim to be the world's most ethical and truly sustainable global business. The Commitment underpins all aspects of The Body Shop's business and comprises 14 measurable targets to meet by 2020, under three key pillars – Enrich our People, Enrich our Planet and Enrich our Products.
“Through these targets we are strengthening our Community Trade programme through which we trade fairly with farmers and suppliers, and involving customers in our campaign to protect and restore bio-diversity all over the world,” the spokesperson added.
