The brand is planning to enter Mumbai and expand further into metro cities like Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Delhi as part of its next growth phase.
JadeBlue Lifestyle India Limited, an Ahmedabad-based leading men's fashion retailer which began its journey in 1995 with a single tailoring store, is now looking to expand its retail presence across key metro markets.
Today, the brand operates over 80 stores and has expanded beyond Gujarat into states such as Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The company is now focusing on strengthening its presence in Tier 1 cities before moving into smaller markets.
Speaking to Retail4Growth, Shambhav Chauhan, Executive Director of JadeBlue, shares, “First of all, we want to make our strategy so strong that wherever we enter, we have to penetrate that market very well. Instead of going to tier 2, tier 3 cities directly, we want to cover the first tier 1 markets.”
Mumbai is a key focus market for JadeBlue, with plans to open multiple outlets. “This year, we are planning to have stores in Bombay. Then, we are trying to have at least 3 stores, step by step, in prominent locations,” he shared, adding that the brand is open to both malls and high-street locations depending on availability.
Beyond Mumbai, JadeBlue is targeting other metro markets, including Bengaluru, Kolkata and Delhi as part of its expansion roadmap. For JadeBlue, as Shambhav confirms, the most important thing is location. “If you are at the right location, half of the problems are solved.”
