The company aims to touch sales of INR 500 cr in the next three years.
Jagdish Purohit – Chairman, JMD Medico Service Ltd. said, “Ayurvedic products are gaining acceptance not only in India but also across the globe due to the natural medicinal benefits they offer without any side effects. Apart from this, the measures taken by Government of India in encouraging & promoting usage of Ayurvedic products has also helped the industry. In our first year, we managed to make a strong presence in the eastern states of India. We see western India as a primary market since the consumption of Ayurveda products is humungous. We plan to make a double-digit growth by the end of the year by growing our network and launching our products across the country. To achieve our target, we plan to have a retail network of over 50000 pan India. We also plan to increase our product portfolio by introducing new products on a monthly basis.” Currently, the company’s portfolio consists of 18 products in hair care, skin care, health care and body care collectively. JMD Medico has an existing distribution network of 10 super stockists, 50 distributors and 5000 retailers.
