The fresh capital will be deployed towards expanding the company’s offline retail footprint with its own stores, strengthening its senior leadership team and launching new product categories as it enters its next phase of growth.
MyDesignation, a design and innovation-led, direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand, has raised ₹40Cr in its Series A round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with strong participation from existing investor Veltis Capital, who doubled their equity stake. Other existing investors - Multiply Ventures and Dominor Investments also participated in the funding round. The fresh capital will be deployed towards expanding the company’s offline retail footprint with its own stores, strengthening its senior leadership team and launching new product categories as it enters its next phase of growth.
Founded in 2020 by husband-wife duo Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj, MyDesignation has built its presence through its digital-first model and community-led brand positioning. The brand prides itself on blending culturally inspired storytelling with contemporary streetwear aesthetics. It currently operates through its online website serving customers across India, and has 5 Exclusive Brand Outlets in Bangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut. Operating independently of third-party marketplaces, the company has built a strong direct relationship with its customer base and has full control over brand experience, pricing and distribution.
The capital will support a structured offline expansion strategy, with plans to open 8 stores over the next year, across markets such as Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

This disciplined approach allows the brand to maintain creative integrity while building a meaningful connection with its community.
