The virtual queue and appointment management system introduced by the company; facilitates consumers in Pune to nominate shops of their choice, without any charges.
The Ohio-based start-up; ‘SOLYD’ that entered India last year as a hyperlocal grocery delivery; PikMe has jumped into the bandwagon of technological innovation as it introduces a virtual queue and appointment management system.
The particular innovation offers a free, virtual queue for its customers that allow them to join the queue before going to actual shopping, therefore easing shopping experience during the pandemic.
Prabhat Kumar Singh, CEO, PikMe, states “The virtual queue and appointment system are integrated with Apple and Google Exposure APIs. This is a derived service for exposure and crowd management to have absolute control over safe shopping experience. It also helps partner stores to save their employees from cross-infection."

Commenting on its reach, Prabhat added, “The company has its wide operations in USA, but it is only active at Pune, in India. Nonetheless, the pace will accelerate with time. People are nominating Big Bazaar and Shoppers Stop for Queue and Appointments.”
