India’s largest brewery chain and popular artisanal chocolate brand come together to curate special offering and experiences for its customers, while each of these brands plan to expand their presence across the country.

Ironhill India, the leading brewery chain, and SMOOR, a popular artisanal chocolate brand, have come together to announce a one-of-a-kind collaboration that introduces a curated range of craft beer and chocolate pairings, designed to elevate indulgence into a refined, sensorial experience.

The category-defining collaboration is being introduced across Ironhill breweries through cocoa stout beer, cocktails and desserts and SMOOR outlets will offer Orange Hops 70% Dark chocolate bars and few other products coming soon.

Commenting on the initiative, Vimal Sharma, Founder, SMOOR said, “Together, we’ve created pairings that go beyond indulgence where they invite consumers to slow down, explore, and truly experience flavour in a new way. It’s a meeting of two crafts, brought together with intention and creativity.”

With a current store count of 70 outlets, spread across signature lounges, cafes, kiosks, and cloud kitchens, Smoor is present in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune, with cloud kitchens in Chennai and Delhi. While the chocolate brand plans to enter Hyderabad soon, Vimal shares that Smoor will reach 150–200 stores over the next five years and explore emerging markets such as Gujarat and Chandigarh. “As we're anchored in luxury, we have to be selective in opening stores,” he adds.

Beyond the menu, the collaboration reflects a broader shift within the hospitality and alcobev sectors, where consumer preferences are increasingly leaning toward curated, experience-led formats. “At Ironhill, we are constantly looking at ways to evolve the craft beer experience beyond the glass. This collaboration with SMOOR was initiated with the idea of introducing a new dimension to how our consumers engage with flavour. As a brand, we see this as an opportunity to redefine the role of craft beer within the larger lifestyle and dining ecosystem,” added Vidhatha Annamaneni, Co-Founder - Ironhill India.

The collaboration further reinforces Ironhill’s strength in building large-format, experience-led destinations that go beyond conventional dining. Present in seven locations today, Ironhill plans to open four breweries this year across Bangalore, Mysore and Rajahmundry. It currently has presence in Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh - Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, and Nellore, and in Telangana - Hyderabad.

“We've always been early movers in tier-2 cities, especially in Andhra and Telangana. Markets like Hubli-Dharwad are also on the radar, where demand is genuinely high,” Vidhatha shares. Beyond this, Ironhill is looking at Mumbai, Pune, and opportunities across India. Having taken their time to master the franchisee model, the brewery chain is now ready to move with confidence, and even exploring international markets.
