Snapdeal opens two logistics centres in Punjab, ahead of festive season

With the increase in business volume, the company introduces two fulfilment centres at Jalandhar and Ludhiana to ensure faster and smoother operations.


The Indian e-commerce company, Snapdeal fortifies its logistics capacity by opening two centres in Ludhiana and Jalandhar. The new centres will assist in dealing with increased volume of shipments due to the additional sellers in the region.

According to the company, the additional logistics spaces in Punjab were launched after observing a spike in business due to the approaching festivities. It will ease up the fulfilment process for manufacturers and sellers, thereby assuring quick movement of shipments.

With festivities round the corner and social distancing being the major concern, people prefer to shop online. The demand for fashion and fitness items is expected to reach its peak. Therefore, the newly opened centres will reduce the pre-Diwali burden by facilitating faster movement of parcels, the company added.

The company has recently set-up 23 logistics in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Meerut, Hyderabad, Yamuna Nagar and many other cities to accelerate its operations throughout the country.
