The Silver Needle opens first flagship store in Kolkata
The multi-designer store is the new fashion destination for the residents of Salt Lake
The Silver Needle, a fashionable multi designer outlet was launched in Salt Lake city, Kolkata. The first flagship store of the brand was inaugurated by Abhineet Prahladka, Co-owner & Partner of The Silver Needle management team. The 1800 sq. ft. store boasts of an exclusive collection in men's wear, women's wear and accessories. Speaking on the occasion Puja Prahladka, partner of "The Silver Needle†said, "I am looking forward to meet the expectations of the people of Kolkata to raise them above the rest, along with being the only fashion destination of a kind for the people residing in this part of the city ranging from Salt Lake to Airport, from Kankurgachi to Park Circus as well as drawing the eye of the southern Kolkata.â€
The store decor is a fusion of Indo ethnic and Western elements. The collection is mostly spread across the white backdrop stylised with Indian motifs, where as the sitting area is fully designed keeping in mind the traditional textile theme with elaborate curvatures and patterns inlayed on the walls and glass painted chandelier and gramophone as props evokes a sense of old world charm. Jointly conceived by the brother-sister duo Puja and Abhineet, The Silver Needle has been completed within five months. This multi-designer store has wide range of clothes and accessories of designers from Lakme Fashion Week and the local ones as well. Some of the names include - Rishav Goenka, Rohan Arora, Sadan Pandey, Shantanu Singh, Kirti Rathore, Anil Minocha, Chaitanya, Girish Bajaj, Kanta Khemani, Shagufta Quama and many more.
