Uni Seoul’s expansion will focus on premium malls and high streets in metros, with LiteStore driving design and execution to ensure consistent brand experiences across key markets like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Korean-inspired lifestyle brand Uni Seoul has announced a partnership with Bengaluru-based retail-as-a-service platform LiteStore, which enables high-growth D2C brands to scale their offline presence.
From fit-out to footprint, LiteStore will offer Uni Seoul comprehensive support in design, build, and store launch. Through this partnership, Uni Seoul will launch 25 offline stores over the next 12 months. The company plans to establish a strong presence in metros, with a focus on key markets including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
“We have carved out a distinct space for ourselves in India’s increasingly crowded lifestyle market and are targeting to open around 500 stores over the next five years, said Gaurav Karmani, Co-founder of Uni Seoul. “In times when most new-age brands prioritise an online-first or D2C approach, our approach has always been to focus on expansion through offline stores. Our partnership with LiteStore significantly reduces the upfront risk and allows us to scale our offline presence faster and more efficiently.”
“Each brand brings a unique lens to the market,” said Hitesh Mishra, Head of Brand Acquisitions at LiteStore. “Our goal has been to translate that clear vision into scalable, high-quality execution, enabling rapid growth while staying true to the brand’s core identity.”
Uni Seoul is currently present in 5 cities with 8 stores, offering over 1200 SKUs. Since opening its flagship store at Phoenix Market City, Pune, in April 2023, the brand has grown its presence across India, with locations in different malls and high streets in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Nashik, and Mumbai.
