Westside of Trent Limited, part of the Tata Group, which is reportedly planning to expand up its footprint, has just inaugurated its newest store in Bengaluru. Located at Outer Ring Road, JP Nagara 3 Phase Bengaluru, the new store is spread across 26858 sq ft.
“The new store seamlessly embodies the brand's vision of delivering an extraordinary retail experience, providing customers with contemporary and modern fashion trends at an exceptional value. It is committed to offering a seamless shopping experience, with meticulously arranged and clutter-free displays that highlight the newest fashions,” says the company statement.
The store also offers a selection of home decoration items for your bedroom, kitchen, and living room.
Westside stores have a footprint of predominantly between 18,000-34,000 sq. ft. across 90 cities. Trent operates a portfolio of retail concepts, including Westside, Zudio, and the Trent Hypermarket, which operates in the competitive food, grocery and daily needs segment under the Star banner. Trent’s new fashion concepts include Samoh and Misbu. Zudio, the value fashion format destination, operates with stores having a footprint of around 7,000-10,000 sq. ft.
It was reported recently that the Fashion retail chain was planning to open between 20 and 30 stores next fiscal and also scale up it e-commerce operations over the next 12 months, said a top executive at the retailer. It was reported that Westside registered 49% like-for-like growth in sales in FY23, citing the company’s annual report.
