Currently with 62 SKUs across various cold chain and ambient FMCG categories, Wingreens Farms will soon expand in categories like dairy products, ready-to-cook gravies, sweets, health food etc.
In an exclusive chat with Retail4growth, Arjun and Anju Srivastava, Founders, Wingreens Farms, explained, “We have been involved in farming and we were progressing exponentially. We were the first player to launch potted herbs in 2008. We started making basil pesto and retailing from Spencers outlet at MG Road, Gurgaon in 2011. Basil Pesto, which is widely used as pasta sauce, became popular as a dip because we were making people taste it with chips! In 2014, we launched successfully in Mumbai and after getting funded by Sequoia in 2015, we expanded rapidly to become a national brand with presence in over 30 cities now. After gaining confidence via our disruptive packaging, smart visibility and competitive pricing, we will soon embark onto various other product range an d will continue to surprise our consumers.”
