Malabar Gold & Diamonds unveil their first store in Mumbai

Leading jewellery retailer, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, opened its first store in Mumbai at New Link Road, Andheri West. The showroom was inaugurated by prominent Bollywood actress Hema Malini, the brand ambassador, along with Malabar Group Chairman M.P. Ahammed and company directors. The new showroom is part of the 40 new outlets planned by the group across the country this year. 

"This showroom in Mumbai is the group's first outlet in Maharashtra and 87th worldwide. This opening is part of our 2013 plan to strengthen our retail presence across various parts of the country. The company plans to increase its worldwide retail network and is targeting to have 220 stores by the year 2015,” said Mr. MP Ahammed, Chairman, Malabar Group.

Malabar Gold and Diamonds is also expanding its footprints across other Indian states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi & NCR Region, UP and Punjab. Apart from Gulf countries, they are also looking at expansion in South Asia, other parts of Middle East, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe and America. The store's interiors were designed with gleaming glass cases and designer brands on display. It will showcase an exquisite range of the exclusive brands of Malabar Gold & Diamonds such as Divine - Indian Heritage Jewellery, Era - Uncut Diamond Jewellery, Mine - Diamond jewellery, Ethnix - Handcrafted designer Jewellery, Starlet - Kid's Jewellery and Precia - Precious Gem Jewellery.
