Mall of Travancore unveiled in Thiruvanathapuram

Malabar Group unveiled the shopping mall ‘Mall of Travancore’ in Thiruvanathapuram to add new colors to the shopping experience of capital. The Mall was inaugurated by Pinarayi Vijayanon, Kerala's Chief Minister in the presence of many other dignitaries from the state. Spread over 6.5 lakh sq ft over three floors, there is a huge collection of world class branded items to offer in the mall. At present, around 300 brands including national and international are available in more than 150 stores within the mall. Some of the prominent brands including Adidas, Arrow, Allen Solly, Apple, Bata, Baskin & Robbins, Jockey, Delsey, KFC, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Pantaloons, LifeStyle, Louis Philippe, Titan, VIP, Van Heusen, Woodland and many more are available.  Apart from shopping, there are other facilities within the mall. The mall could be a convenient umbrella shopping center for the people hailing from the nearby districts including Nagercoil, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari.

Country’s 1st Green Mall

On the occasion, Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor V.K.Prasanth also handed over the Green mall interim certificate to the management of the Mall of Travancore as there are a number of environment-friendly initiatives that make the project unique and environment – friendly. In order to make it environment friendly, 70% of Mall’s façade is covered by vertical garden only. Like this there are many other initiatives also started to keep it eco-friendly. The next phase of the mall expected to be operational by 2020.
