McDonald’s revamps flagship outlet at Times Square

Designed by Landini Associates and architecture by Progressive AE, the hi-tech revamp of the restaurant is the largest construction project in the brand history with $10 billion being pumped in to fuel ‘Experience of the Future’ restaurant transformations across the U.S.

Times SquareLocated at the corner of 45th & Broadway, the new McDonald’s flagship Times Square restaurant represents a commitment to building a better McDonald’s, showcasing the Experience of the Future for customers, according to McDonald’s statement. The iconic brand has indeed upgraded its customer experience through the intersection of technology and hospitality. In fact, McDonald’s and its Owner/Operators are investing more than $10 billion to fuel Experience of the Future restaurant transformations across the U.S,. making this the largest construction project in their history.

Designed by Landini Associates and architecture by Progressive AE, the new McDonald’s flagship adopts a more composed and at the same time bold approach to restaurant design, creating a calm environment. The three-story glass curtain wall provides customers with spectacular dining room views out into the heart of Times Square. “Customers will notice hints of gold and red to celebrate our brand with a modern twist,” said the company in a statement.

McDonald’s is leveraging digital technology that is reshaping customer interactions through models like table service, mobile order and pay, self-order kiosks and delivery focused on making delicious feel-good moments easy for everyone.
