The leading audio system supplier company to retail industry plans to scale up rural economy by training and providing jobs to rural women.

Audio and power electronics company, Rontek Systems, which is also a leading player to provide audio support to retail stores, is planning to scale rural economy of Karnataka by training underprivileged women to support in their business. Rontek has already identified rural areas in the outskirts of Kolar and Tumkur and in talks with some church outreach programs to implement this replicable model.

Jacob Abraham of Rontek Systems told Retail4growth, “We took 2-3 years to perfect our design and technology to be one of the leading names as supplier in retail and hospitality industry. Now that we have the volume, our sole idea is to stay focused in delivery. Since we believe in complete ‘make in India’ initiative, we thought of involving rural women to help us in wiring and other works and this will also generate jobs in this areas thus scaling the economy. We are going to provide training sessions to these women for free.” Rontek has also recently incorporated Class D technology that makes the amplifiers more efficient at lower consumption thus reducing the carbon footprint. “Last year, we picked the order of all Royal Enfield stores pan India. With that kind of bulk order too, we refrained from importing and delivered through self-produced products,” Abraham added.
