Shoppers Stop forays into Northeast with its first flagship store in Guwahati

Leading large format retailer Shopper Stop forays into Northeast by opening its first flagship store in Guwahati. The retail chain opened its first store in Guwahati at the newly inaugurated City Centre Mall.

Spread over approximately 44,000 sqft area across three floors, the new store will offer chic and desirable fashion brands under one roof. This is the 84th store of Shopper Stop expanding its footprint to 40 cities across the country.

“The Northeast has been a market that was missing from our coverage and we think there is good fit between our offering and the consumers in Guwahati,” Shoppers Stop customer care associate, chief of marketing & customer officer Uma Talreja said in a statement. “It is a young market, and we want to make sure we give enough reasons for consumers to visit us and get an international experience with the best brands and services at our store.”

The new store will have a wide variety of merchandise available across categories under its exclusive brands Stop, Life, Vettorio Fratini, Fratini Woman, Haute Curry and Kashish.
