Tablez to up its ante with international brand acquisitions

Tablez, with current global portfolio of 60 stores and 6 international and in-house brands, plans to acquire 10-12 more international brands across categories like sportswear, footwear, children’s clothing etc, targeting a network of 300 stores by 2020.

Tablez, Lulu Group’s organised retail arm, with 60 outlets globally for 6 brands, plans to acquire 10-12 more international brands across categories like sportswear, footwear, children’s clothing etc. The group, currently hosting brands like Toys “R” Us, Springfield, Women’secret, Galito, Cold Stone Creamery along with their own brands Bloomsbury’s and Peppermill, targets 300 stores in total by 2020.

In an exclusive chat with Retail4Growth, Adeeb Ahamed, MD, Tablez, shared, “We have introduced prominent international retail brands to India and Sri Lanka. At present, Tablez India is the franchise holder for some of the world-renowned brands across F&B, Toys, lifestyle and apparel brands and we operate through more than 25 stores in India and more than 60 outlets globally. We plan to increase the number to 300 by the end of 2020. We have recently closed our partnership with Chinese lifestyle brand Yoyoso. In next couple of years, we are planning to add 10-15 international brands to our portfolio.”
