Tilfi launches its first brick-and-mortar store in Banaras

The store has been designed by Aditi Sharma of Design Studio and spreads across 2500 square feet at Rathyatra, Varanasi.

Ethnic wear brand Tilfi will be the latest retailer to make the transition from online to offline for growth in the Indian market as the brand recently launched its first brick-and-mortar store in its hometown of Banaras.

The store has been designed by Aditi Sharma of Design Studio and spreads across 2500 square feet at Rathyatra, Varanasi.

Aditi Chand, Co-Founder and CEO at Tilfi, while commenting on the store opening, said: “As a brand firmly rooted in Banaras, it was unimaginable for us to launch our first physical touchpoint anywhere else in the world other than Banaras. We have put together our new store with a lot of love and have created a space that promises to provide an immersive experience with a touch of the heritage and artistry of Banaras along with a taste of exquisite hand-woven art.”

Born in Banaras, India in 2016, Tilfi sells Banarasi handloom saris, dupattas, and lehengas. The brand weaves in pure silk, cotton, koras, georgettes, and more. Tilfi has a strong online presence and delivers across the country through its e-commerce website.
