The company plans to enter into new alliances in Kuwait, re-enter Oman and spread its footprint across Africa.

An arm of the Tata Group, Titan Watches is all prepared to begin its expansion plans in the Middle East. The plan will include the brand’s entry into new alliances in Kuwait, re-entering Oman and spreading its footprint in Africa.

Titan finalized a deal with Oman-based retail major Khimji Ramdas last month, under which Khimji will market watches from Titan and its popular mass brands in its retail stores network in the country.

As per the company, Oman is the first overseas market for the brand and it aims to be present in 100 stores across the country by the end of 2021.

In a conversation with Arabian Business, Kuruvilla Markose, COO- International Business Division, Titan Watch Company, stated, “We have just entered into a new partnership deal in Oman and will soon be announcing a partnership in Kuwait. We are looking at growing our presence in these and more countries and also entering Africa. We will, in parallel, continue to explore opportunities in the region and take our much loved brands and businesses to as many markets as possible.”

The expansion plan was in response to an “overwhelmingly positive response” from various economies in the Middle East region.  The fact that we operate in the mid premium segment with products and offerings that are exceptional value for money, apart from being very stylish, helps build the connect across markets in the Middle east and Africa region,” Kuruvilla added.

Titan continues to strengthen its presence in the Middle East in-between its aggressive growth in the UAE market, where it plans to add 30 more exclusive showrooms by 2023.
