The chain has designed the store layout in such a way that the overall ambience of the store is happy, colourful, lively and promotes general well-being and invites the customers to think of improving their health quotient

Wellness Forever, one of the biggest pharma retail chain currently have 105 stores and plans to grow the same to 500 stores in next 4 years. Gulshan Bakhtiani Co-Founder & Director of Wellness Forever shares, “We are currently, probably the third largest chain of Pharma -Retail in India by sale size, where the prescription sales in our company is 60% of our sales. Our endeavour is to always employ best in class technology and automation which helps us serve the customer better. We don’t follow industry standards of re-order level and minimum order quantities . We have added factors such as seasonality, regionality, disease specificity, consumption forecast to create an algorithm and we spend sizeable amount of effort and time to constantly improve the algorithm. Another thing that we spend time is on cutting down the amount of time that our staff takes to dispense medicine to the patients.”

Wellness Forever as the name suggests is the Wellness Store that encompasses (Curative+Preventive+Wellness) rather than typical standard medical store where one is expected to go when somebody is not well. Hence they have designed the store layout such that the overall ambience of the store is happy, colourful, lively and promotes general well-being and invites the customers to think of improving health quotient. Apart from availability, customer service, ambience, they pay a lot of attention and consequently invest significantly into quality of storage, hygiene, cold- chain management and only buy from dependable company authorised sources. “Hence, in someway we do not just sell medicines but we play important role in healing process of the patients,” adds Gulshan.
