Zara opens Asia’s largest store at Beijing

The Spanish-British-Indian apparel retailer, Zara opens its new store at Beijing in China. The sprawling 3500 sq m new store, spreading across four floors, is considered as the brand’s largest store in Asia, according to ‘Beijing Daily’.

As per reports, the new launch is expected to provide a sustainable shopping experience as the store incorporates the utilization of modern technology that cuts down the consumption of energy by 20% and also minimizes the usage of water.

The brand has facilitated ways to manage its online and offline sales under one roof with the addition of a dedicated area to online orders in its outlet.

After rigorous shutdowns that happened in the mid 2019, the brand’s recent opening is a vital step taken for the company.

Zara launched its first store at Hong Kong and Macau in China on 2004. Presently the company has 191 stores and 52 Zara home outlets in the country.
