Art meets glamour in Shoppers Stop’s Dress Festival windows

By Retail4Growth Bureau | November 24, 2022

Doing away with printed materials for its store windows and making VM a truly artistic exercise, Shoppers  Stop uses these hand-painted backdrops, done by the in-house VM team, for its Dress Vogue Festival windows that are also chic, minimalist and glitzy

For one, the backdrop is hand painted artistically by a member of the in-house VM team, demonstrating their passion to keep the spirit of art alive in the whole VM process. It also reflects the retailer’s focus on moving away from using printed materials for its store windows.

Besides, the windows express the panache and glamour that the merchandise represents, through stylishly presented but minimally used mannequins. The Dress in Vogue windows exhibits the much-anticipated glamour of the season, showcasing it through illuminated 3D eclectic frames as the main props right at the centre of the window. The light bulbs and the glitterati used in the background raise the style and glam quotient several notches higher, with the mannequins’ trending silhouettes and colours complementing it. The whole window vibe is a smooth blend of art, glamour and glitz.
