Raymond’s menswear brand, Colorplus has recently executed a prism-like installation using colourful threads to promote their SS18 Monochromatic Collection. The window scheme has been executed at 130 exclusive stores across India
Launching a capsule collection in monochromatic hues for Spring Summer 2018, Colorplus has recently executed a window that showcases the dispersion of light through colourful threads, representing a prism-like installation. Using materials like dichroic film, sun-board, strings, metal frame and vinyl, the window has been executed at 130 exclusive Colorplus stores across India.
Explaining more about the window, Vishanand Charya, Head – Visual Merchandiser, Colorplus, shared, “Monochrome, by definition, means display of images in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour. A prism installation, with colourful threads passing through to turn black and white, represents the idea of dispersion of lights. The sourcing of material and assembling the installation were the two main components in this window. The team worked on the idea extensively and juggled with initial challenges from getting the right fabrication of prism to the right material for threads.
