Kompanero switches to green in-store communication

By Satarupa Chakraborty | June 28, 2018

As an environment-friendly alternative, Kompanero has switched from sunboard to corkboards. The material also contributes to the weathered and vintage brand proposition of Kompanero.

In sync with the growing environment consciousness and sustainable living, homegrown leather brand Kompanero has recently switched to corkboards from sunboards for their in-store brand communication. The change has been executed across all their 26 stores in the country.

Explaining more on this, Samraat Singharoy, Head – VM, Kompanero, shared with Retail4Growth, “As many state legislations are banning all non-sustainable materials, we understand the importance of eco-friendly practices, being a conscious brand. For in-store communications, like many other brands, we have been using sunboards. We have recently replaced them with corkboards, which were used as noticeboards in olden days. The material also contributes to the weathered and vintage brand proposition of Kompanero. We have used paper with 300 GSM to print our communication and have pasted them on those boards. Adopting the simplest ways, we feel that we are doing well to the environment.”

The work has been executed Pan India by Delhi-based Design One.
