The installation glows with warmth and energy, while its floral details add a festive charm, making the space feel lively, welcoming, and easy to connect with.
Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bengaluru’s premier destination for shopping, dining, and culture, has unveiled Equus Fortuna, a 30-ft-tall illuminated sculptural centrepiece spanning 40 feet in diameter, at its Grand Plaza. Open to visitors through April 26, the installation unfolds as a visually layered experience, where light, reflection, and form come together to create a space that invites exploration from every direction.
Conceived as a celebration of prosperity, renewal, and festive energy, Equus Fortuna brings together art, light, and symbolism in a contemporary sculptural form. Inspired by the horse as an emblem of strength, prestige, and forward momentum, the installation translates these ideas into a visual expression rooted in movement and form.
Its illuminated silhouette conveys warmth and vitality, while intricate floral detailing evokes abundance in full bloom. Together, these elements create a layered visual narrative that balances sculptural presence with celebratory richness, shaping an installation that feels both expansive and immersive.
“Equus Fortuna brings together scale, light, and movement to create an experience that feels immersive and dynamic,” said Ritu Mehta, Centre Director – Phoenix Mall of Asia and Director of Marketing – South. “It reflects our continued focus on shaping spaces at Phoenix Mall of Asia that evolve with the city and offer something distinctive with each visit. Inspired by the horse as a symbol of strength and forward momentum, it aligns with the language of luxury that defines the brands and experiences we bring together.”
As the installation reveals itself across the Grand Plaza, it creates a luminous spectacle that evolves with perspective and movement. At the heart of the space, Equus Fortuna rises in quiet grandeur, while reflections ripple across water, pathways glow softly underfoot, and surrounding light installations guide visitors through the environment.
Positioned as both a visual centrepiece and an experiential environment, the installation invites visitors to pause, explore, and engage, offering multiple vantage points across the Plaza for photography and shared moments.
