UCB: Spools for Christmas

By Satarupa Chakraborty | December 06, 2017

Benetton’s Christmas window focuses on the brand’s merchandise which leans towards wool and knitwear. The window has been completed with life-size spools of wool along with glitter and gold to denote the festive season.

Benetton’s Christmas window takes back the communication to the Brand DNA of knitwear made of wool. Graphically, the spools of wool are enlarged larger than life and made to look colourful yet iconic symbol of the commitment made to offer woolen and knits at great value.

Glitters and gold makes the window look luxurious and adds to the bling. Animesh Ikshit, VP – Projects and VM, Benetton India, explained further, “The clusters of spools and symbolic X-mas trees are theme centric and displayed menswear are centred around blue colour while the women’s wear ranges from shades of red including burgundy to pink. For kids, we have used the base color of spools in green.” The stars on top are representatives of the knitwear needles made of balls in various sizes and aluminium rods. Base of the platform is covered with white wood printed and laid out across to go well with the balance concept. Lights are focused on mannequin clusters and iconic props. The window has been executed by Noida-based AHM Advertizing.
