Concept Mannequins plans to bring next level of innovations in mannequins like robotic dummies and interchangeable facial features etc.
On such a technologically-advanced product range and Indian retail industry’s acceptance for it, Gagandeep Bhatia of Concept Mannequins said, “Though Indian retail market thrives on tried-and-tested formulae, these dummies can contribute to lot of challenges that the market is facing today. One of them is off course the space crunch for brick-and-mortar set ups. For online retail too, it can do wonders as it will enable customers try clothes virtually more accurately. However, we are checking out feasibilities extensively and it may take as long as 8-10 months to bring such range of products.” Robotic dummies have already started replacing physical mannequins in countries like Japan and UK.
Among other innovations in the mannequin industry, Concept is also bringing interchangeable facial features for mannequins, wherein window dressers will be able to alter and customize facial features of mannequins like eyeball colours, make-up etc.
