IKEA is all set to begin work of its biggest store in Noida

The Company has proposed to set up an integrated commercial project in Noida and also intends to reach 40 cities by 2030.


The Swedish furniture giant, IKEA is all set to begin work at its Noida store which is expected to be the biggest store in India. The Company has proposed to set up an integrated commercial project in Noida and also intends to reach 40 cities by 2030.

Satish Mahana, Industries Minister, Uttar Pradesh, stated, “The 47,833 sq. mt. land had been allotted to the company. All issues have been cleared and the company has committed to finishing the project by 2025.”

A typical IKEA store has an average size of 4,00,000 sq. ft., as its difficult to find such large spaces within the city, the company is planning to alter its model and focus on smaller stores within shopping malls or standalone stores, as per reports.
