Indian Chai Company plans to invest US$ 1 million for expansion

The premium tea start-up aims to expand its operations by adding experience stores and cloud kitchens in the upcoming year. The company will open 25 stores in 10 cities by December.

Pawas Jain, Founder, Indian Chai Company, stated, “We are widening distribution network across multi-brand modern retail and organic stores and will be in more than 20 cities by the end of this year. The company will be investing over US$ 1 million over the next year on expanding pan-India as well as internationally through the franchise model.”

The company has an offline as well as online presence and offers a unique concoction of various tea flavours that matches customer preferences. The company presently has two operational cloud kitchens in Pune and is planning to add more in Amritsar, Jaipur, Mysore and New Delhi.
