Lifestyle stores will boast Endless Aisle feature from next year amongst a number of digitized in-store experience. Lifestyle has recently refreshed its design ID at a couple of stores before aping them in other metros.
Talking to Retail4growth, Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Landmark Group, explained, “We are one of the brick-and-mortar frontrunners to introduce omni-channel. Taking our digital concept ahead, we are incorporating a bunch of tech-integrated elements in our stores. With Max, it was easier to introduce Endless Aisle, as it deals in private labels. With Lifestyle, we are taking a little longer as it is multibrand identity and deals with several brands. Amongst other digital in-store experience at Lifestyle, we already have digitally-assisted trial rooms at 25 outlets. This facility lets the shopper use a pager-based system to notify store staff to bring alternate style for trial. As for bringing digitization, we will stick to stores that are located in metro cities, as of now.”
