Established in 2013, The ThickShake Factory plans to scale up its presence across the country and global locations too. The premium milkshake QSR brand has already signed up for 115 outlets.

Hyderabad-based The ThickShake Factory has grown steadily to now have 76 operational stores in 13 cities and 2 countries. Speaking exclusively to Retail4growth, the brand shared that it has now signed up for more than 115 outlets, targeting 300+ stores by 2019. Founded by two brothers, Yeshwanth Nag Mocherla and Ashwin Ananth Nag Mocherla, The ThickShake Factory made its presence as India’s 1st beverage brand to operate in California, USA, where the brand's international expansion plans also include tapping-in and shaking things up in Maldives, Dubai, Sri Lanka & Nepal as well. Speaking about the plans to tap potential cities and towns, besides metros, Yeshwanth says, "There is tremendous potential in the milkshake segment with a market size of nearly Rs 2000 crore & a CAGR of 25%. In fact, Tier 2 cities are more profitable due to high sales and lesser operating expenditures. Today, the Indian consumer in Tier 2 and tier 3 are no longer holding back on spending and consumption compared to their tier 1 peers.”
