Executed at 39 stores across India and as part of the large format retailer’s secondary window scheme, Lifestyle has promoted their handbag collection through a kinetic window that features a moving spider and cobweb around it

As part of their effort to establish and highlight non-apparel categories, Lifestyle has recently executed a kinetic window, featuring a setting of a colourful web and a moving spider at the top left corner, while handbags are placed within the cobweb. Further to this setting, a mannequin carrying a handbag, is placed in the middle.

Talking to Retail4Growth, Akash Kumar, Deputy General Manager - VM, Lifestyle International, explained further, “As part of our non-apparel category, we are focusing on ladies handbags this month. The kinetic spider and cobweb are intriguing, while the motion of the spider engages the attention of the audience from a distance. Once the customer is in front of the display, they have a closer look at the best of embroidered and embellished handbags collection at Lifestyle stores this season. Also, the moving spider is symbolic of the desire to sneak away the range of handbags.”

The window has been executed in northern India by Amitoje Creations, while southern and western India’s executions have been carried out by Tranz Mannequins and Pyramid Retail Services respectively.
